While Ecto Cooler isn’t available for regular purchase in stores currently, it has seen limited-edition releases in recent years, often tied to new “Ghostbusters” projects:
- 2016: Ecto Cooler returned briefly for the release of the movie “Ghostbusters: Answer the Call.”
- 2021: A commemorative version was available through social media giveaways to promote “Ghostbusters: Afterlife.”
Unfortunately, there haven’t been any official announcements of a wider Ecto Cooler comeback as of March 2, 2024. However, there are fan campaigns advocating for its return, and who knows, perhaps a future “Ghostbusters” project could bring back the iconic green drink once again.
